Please tell me there are people out who have seen Tron. A visual masterpiece in 1983 with effects that still hold up today (just not the fashions…). Disney broke serious ground with this movie and it’s taken over 25 years to gear up a sequel. With the Purchase of Marvel, is Disney Looking to Pick Some Fights?

Disney has announced the release date of Tron 2 (or Tr2n, if you go by funky spelling posters...) - December 17, 2010. For anybody that hasn't been payin attention, that's the exact date that Sony moved Seth Rogen's Green Hornet movie to the week prior. Three guesses which movie will win at the box office and you only need one.
