Wolverine Sequel to Start Shooting In 2011?

During a backstage interview at The People’s Choice Awards, Hugh Jackman was feeling chatty about the future of the Wolverine franchise. “Wolverine's going to be back. He's going to Japan. We shoot that probably in a year, year-and-a-half, something like that.” said Jackman. Once again referencing the classic Chris Claremont and Frank Miller story of Wolverine’s time in Japan, Jackman also stated that we would see Wolverine fight in a way we haven’t before. Having made his way to Asia (Madripoor...

Comic Reviews of Captain America Reborn #5, GL Corps #43, Mighty Avengers #32 & Daredevil #503

CAPTAIN AMERICA REBORN #5 - By now, every Marvel reader knows Steve Rogers is back - already having appeared in Fall of the Hulks, Who Will Wield the Shield?, Dark Avengers Annual and the list goes on. This is another example of Marvel editors not communicating very well. However, that does stop this from being an incredible issue. The Red Skull had succeeded in supplanting Steve Rogers’ personality with his own… effectively taking over Captain America’s body. Cap-Bucky, Black Widow, Ronin, ...

Will Hawkeye be in Marvel’s Thor Movie?

The rumors have really started to fly about who will play Hawkeye in the upcoming Avengers movie. Jeremy Renner (Hurt Locker) won’t play Captain America as previous rumors suggested, but thinks Hawkeye would be “interesting.” In an interview with Empire Online, Renner had this to say: "I don't know if I'd be right for Captain America," he said. "I met with the Marvel guys, actuall...
