In this series by Eric Shanower & Skottie Young, the creators stay incredibly true to L. Frank Baum's story details that Dorothy, Toto, Scarecrow, Tin-man, and the Cowardly Lion face when they get their gifts from the Wonderful Wizard of Oz. After Dorothy meets up with all of her new friends they go in search of the Great Oz. The artwork by Skottie Young is fabulous. It has a sort of sketchy feeling to it but it looks great.
