I have a pretty good feeling that the reboot will be good on the Iron Man level and make the collective Spidey fans forget this spot in the franchise. I've gotten a lot of responses on this podcast both agreeing wit me and calling for my head.
I'll end it on this: kudos to Raimi's cast, crew, Sony and Avi Arad for blazing the trail and saving Spider-Man from James Cameron's development hell, but now that Marvel Studios and Christopher Nolan have shown us what a comic can be - it's time to part ways, reboot and look for the Spider-Man we know can be made now.

Kind of bummed, although Spider-Man 3 sucked. They left many things unresolved, just wished there was closure to the series.
