Please tell me there are people out who have seen Tron. A visual masterpiece in 1983 with effects that still hold up today (just not the fashions…). Disney broke serious ground with this movie and it’s taken over 25 years to gear up a sequel. Tron Legacy director Joseph Kosinski said in an interview with MTV that principle filming had already wrapped and the effects teams were hard at work on the 3D portions of the sequel. Picking up where the previous movie left off, Tron Legacy follows Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund – Murtagh in Eragon), son of previous Tron hero, Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges) as he is sucked into the world of Tron where his father’s AI Avatar rules with an iron fist. Tron Legacy is due out December 23, 2010. Check out the poster below and for God’s sake please watch the original before going to see this one…

It’s amazing how many people who haven’t seen this movie or even heard of it. Heck I coached some kids that had never seen Star Wars. ANY of them! That’s just child abuse…
__Yes if you call yourself a geek and haven’t seen the original TRON yet then your journey to geekdom isn’t complete.
