IGN caught up with BioWare’s project manager, Casey Hudson at CES 2010 to talk about upcoming DLC for Mass Effect 2 and any Mass Effect 3 news.

“We are already at work on Mass Effect 3, building the first bits of the story, putting that together.” said Hudson. He also stated that BioWare has plans for “lots of high quality DLC” to ensure that Mass Effect 2 stays fun and relevant until they can complete the third and final game in the trilogy. Given how story rich the Mass Effect Universe is and how much money it’s made for everyone involved, I have a feeling that Mass Effect 3 might not be the last we see of this space franchise…
