When last we heard, Bill Murray didn’t know anything about a Ghostbusters 3, Harold Ramis and Dan Aykroyd were still gung-ho about making a sequel and the rumor-mill was working overtime. Over the last week, Ivan Reitman has confirmed that he would return to direct Ghostbusters 3 and Sigorney Weaver said she’d also be interested in reprising her role as Dana Barrett in the movies. Does that mean that our Peter Venkman won’t be far behind? Will the Grinch decide to come out and play? I honestly hope so. Even if the originals just come back to pass the torch to their kids or some other new batch of characters. Nothing is set in stone yet, but the fact that most of the cast is talking is a good thing. The real question is going to be whether or not that Rick Moranis will be returning as Louis Tulley…
