Correct me if I’m wrong, but according to Star Wars canon, the apprentice (Galen Marek) died at the end of the last game. Makes a sequel kinda hard to have him as the main character… or not. Premiered during the Spike-TV 2009 Video Games Awards, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 is indeed happening with Galen Marek returning as the main character. Clone? Saved from the brink of death by another Jedi? As the trailer opens, a hooded figure walks down a hallway, we hear Yoda and Darth Vader in voiceover giving conflicting advice as more and more of the hallway is ripped up in the figure’s wake. The destruction and voices stop when the figure hears the voice of Juno Eclipse ask if she’ll ever see him again. Seems our boy has either shunned the galaxy, lost his memory or both as he enters an arena to fight the granddaddy of all Rancors with force lightning and two blue lightsabers. Who am I kidding… I’ll be playing it on the day it gets released. Check out the trailer below.
