The Robert Rodrieguez produced/Nimord Antel directed Predators movie has added Laurence Fishburne as Noland (don’t ask me…). Now while Morpheus definitley brings up the levels of bad@$$-ery on this film, it’s still pretty sad that Adrian Brody and Topher Grace were cast at all. Unless they are going to be killed in the first 15 minutes. Fishburne will also be joining Danny Trejo (Machete, Desperado) on the set to obviously try to save the two weenies from the Predators. Said to be a remake of the first Predator movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Carl Weathers and Jesse Ventura; Rodrieguez has cast Adrian Brody in the “Dutch” role made famous by the Governator himself. Very little is know other than the signed cast as, like the rest of ‘drieguez’s movies, this is a closed set. And by closed, I mean locked down. Iwas really, really exicited about him making this movie and then it came down that he wouldn’t be directing. Still, the man usually makes a good movie with incredible effects and under budget… so I’m still holding out hope. Especially with Morpheus on board. I wonder if they’ll had out red and blue pills before the movie…

Predators is set to open July 7, 2010.
