Lionsgate Scores Another Comic-Con Hit By Distributing Solomon Kane

Finally. Someone one realized that this movie is going to sell and it’s already paid for. Fangoria is reporting that Lionsgate has aquired the distribution rights to Solomon Kane… hopefully leading to a theatrical release and not just going straight to DVD. No release date yet, but stay tuned and until then – check out the trailer below…

    Two things about the Solomon Kane movie situation piss me right off:
    #1 – Why did it take so long to pick this movie up? It’s done! All they had to do was distribute and market it. It’s a win-win and it has the potential to be a franchise.
    #2 – All of the people who are claiming that this is a Van Helsing rip-off. Really? What are you, like 10? STFU, do some research and then make a comment. D-bags…
