Dr. Doom has finally gone too far in the eyes of Marvel’s heroes. When Storm is framed for a crime in Wakanda and sentenced to death; her friends and family step in to find out who’s behind it. When all signs point to Dr. Doom, former king and Black Panther, T’Challa decides he’s had enough. Calling in or promising favors from across the Marvel Universe, T’Challa manges to recruit the new Black Panther, Wolverine, Deadpool, the Fantastic Four, Emma Frost, Namor and many more “wildcards” that writer Jonathan Maberry wants to keep secret. He’d better be calling in Dr. Strange, Thor and some other big guns to take on Dr. Doom after the villain was “suped-up” at the end of Mark Millar and Bryan Hitch’s run on FF. Maberry also said in his interview with Marvel.com that the political and emotional ramifications of this limited series will be felt throughout the Marvel U for years to come. Honestly, this story is long past due. If someone like this existed in real life, we wouldn’t wait for him to set another plan into motion – he’d have long since gone the way of Saddam…

I agree. With the power levels that he was shown to have in his last appearance, this shouldn’t be an easy fight for the Marvel heroes. This needs to be a game of battle chess where the heroes are going to constantly have to change their plans as Doom does. And they better not bring in some cosmic hero at the last second to pull their bacon out of the fire – no cop outs! Heroes AND villains need to be scarred after this storyline ends…
_____Well let me just say that this storyline looks like it might be exciting! No secret that I am a Dr. Doom fan so let me be very forward “May DOOM rule the WORLD”. But seriously, I hope Marvel doesn’t screw this one up. Let me just say DOOM is always a plan A B C ….through Z squared kinda guy. He has a contigency plan for every event possible along with an excellent exit plan if need arises. Lets see a really hard complex storyline worthy of the great Doctor.
