Is Joss Whedon Planning A Dollhouse Comic?

Dollhouse ComicJoss Whedon is starting to make more and more comments on how he would like to see a Dollhouse comic made – as long as he could find an artist that could capture Dollhouse star Eliza Dushku’s likeness. ComicBookResources recently caught up with Dark Horse’s Senior Managing Editor Scott Allie and asked about the possiblily:

“‘Dollhouse? There’s a chance,” Allie explained. “When Joss first told me he was going to do the ‘Dollhouse’ show, I said ‘Well, I know you don’t want to do comic right away, but whenever you want to do them, we want to do them,’” continued Allie. “He said, ‘Yeah, I just don’t really see how it’s a comic, but if we’re gonna do it, I’ll do it with you guys.’ And then at San Diego this year, he said ‘I know how we can do it as a comic.’ And that’s where we left it.”

Given his ongoing relationship with Dark Horse with Whedon’s ongoing Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season 8 and Dr. Horrible One-Shot – a Dollhouse comic may only be a formality…
