I have been thinking that the video comics if done well with the correct voice overs could be a way to pull the younger generations into the comic world universes aka BOOST COMIC SALES&PRESERVE A CULTURE. {SOUND IS CRITICAL for video comics} I mean sure there are voices that just fit the characters and I think alot of readers would say the same thing. You need alot of thought into this one.
Do I think this could be a comic killer “NNNNOOOO!!!!” This Comic type Platform could be used as: interim stories, great flashback scenarios, stories that need to be told but you don’t have time, money or artists to cover all the backdrop stories: Stories that the editor cuts to keep the stories moving ect.ect.ect….Howerver Used to replace comics is personally a ridiculous thought. If the UNLIKELY and HORRIBLE event was to occur you would see many of us broken and sobbing. We would end up being that old Fart sitting in the coffee shops talking about the good old days (of course its Skynet plotting) when you actually held your comic and turned pages while the younger generations scoffed at us. But I digress. Again it has it uses and possibly place but should be used sparingly until the application is fine science.
