This announcement actually happened during San Diego Comic-Con this year. Dark Horse is just getting the hype-machine started. For anyone looking forward to Mass Effect 2 this is great news. Dark Horse plans to release a four-issue limited series that will bridge the gap between the two Mass Effect games and will go into more back story of the characters in the game and the galaxy in general. Titled Mass Effect: Redemption, the series will be written by game lead scriptwriter Mac Walters and John Jackson Miller with art by Omar Francia. Look for it January 2010 (hopefully that means a game release date of April or May 2010!).
