Johnny Depp and Disney announced the official title of the next Pirates of the Caribbean movie at the D23 Expo this weekend: Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides. The rumors have been flying for some time that Depp’s Captain Jack Sparrow will be encountering Captain Nemo and his sub, The Nautilus. This had lead to all sorts of steampunk speculation and wonders if Sparrow managed to find the Fountain of Youth in his travels. No word on if Depp will be the only returning cast member or any confirmation on the plot. While I enjoyed the first three PotC movies, I think that the concept is getting old and they should let Johnny move on to bigger and better things (Alice in Wonderland & The Lone Ranger,etc…).
