I guess everyone has relationship problems that can affect work sometimes. Robert Rodriguez and Rose McGowan haven’t been an item for a while now – leaving us all wondering what going to happen with the Red Sonja movie that ‘driguez hyped so hard at the 2008 San Diego Comic-Con. Producer Joe Gatta recently told the press that a Red Sonja movie is still on the agenda, he plans to push a Conan reboot movie first. McGowan responded to questions from fans on her Twitter account by implying that she had pulled out of the project entirely and then later clarified that she had meant for a 2009 shooting schedule. She continued by saying that she is still contracted to do the film (can you imagine the tension when ‘driguez asks her to do something?) and hopes to begin filming sometime in 2010. Given the look of the posters that d’riguez had produced to show at SDCC08, I’d be more apt to see a Red Sonja movie before a Conan movie…
