The Muppets are back in their brand new adventure with BOOM! Kids. With Kermit the Frog as Robin Hood and the other Muppets as his merry men; they try to rid the kingdom of Prince John and Sheriff of Nottingham until King Richard comes back from the war. With Miss Piggy as Maid Marian, Fozzie as Friar Tuck; this book is hilarious (I just hope nobody throws a hog about the jokes (get it hog?). Anyway the story is like the original, but with a little Robin Hood: Men in Tights mixed in. The artwork by Armand Villavert, Jr. is very good and fits the “look” of the Muppets well. So buy it, read it and stay tuned for more “kid friendly” blogs.
