I am definitely ready to beam up!!! or Start the Star Trek here…

I was more than a little leery of another Star Trek movie after the last ST: NG travesty and terrified of J.J. Abrams after the abortion called Mission Impossible III. I will preface the presiding statement by saying I can't stand Lost and wouldn't see his monster flick, whatever is was called. What I’m Reading This Week(s) – 04/01/09 – 04/15/09

Ok, so I'm a little late. Been getting ready to go to this year's San Diego Comic-Con. Here's what I've been reading: Action Comics #876 - This is a World Without Superman crossover. Iron Man II or Who’s the star here?

I have a bad feeling that either Marvel or Jon Favreau has stepped in the "Batman" trap. Iron Man pushed it having that many stars (Downy, Jr., Paltrow, Daniels, Stamp...), but now that they have signed Mickey Rourke and Scarlett Johansson - I predict trouble in paradise. Rourke is to play an amalgamation of the Russian villains Crimson Dynamo and Whiplash, while Johansen is portraying the Black Widow. Are they both good actors? Yes to Rourke, he's got Sin City, Kill Bill and now The Wrestler...
